Solar Control Film — Automotive

Professional solar control window tint for automotive glass. Rejects heat, blocks UV radiation, and reduces glare to keep vehicle interiors cooler, protect occupants, and preserve interior finishes.

Your vehicle’s glass works against you in the heat.

Unprotected automotive glass transmits solar energy directly into the cabin. On a warm day, interior temperatures can climb rapidly, making the vehicle uncomfortable before you even start driving, fading upholstery and dashboard materials over time, and forcing the air conditioning to work harder throughout every journey.

Automotive solar control film applies to the interior surface of vehicle glass and significantly reduces the amount of solar energy entering the cabin. It rejects infrared heat, blocks UV radiation at high levels, and reduces glare — improving comfort, protecting the interior, and reducing the thermal load on the vehicle’s climate system.

Available in a range of tint levels and finishes to suit personal preference, legal requirements, and vehicle style. All films are professionally installed to a bubble-free, optically clear finish.

Heat rejection

Rejects solar heat before it enters the cabin, keeping interior temperatures significantly lower on hot days and reducing reliance on air conditioning.

UV protection

Blocks high levels of UV radiation, protecting occupants from sun exposure during daily driving and preventing interior fading and cracking over time.

Glare reduction

Filters harsh visible light to reduce eye strain and glare from sun and oncoming headlights, improving driver safety and comfort.

Privacy & security

Adds a layer of privacy and security by reducing visibility into the vehicle from outside while maintaining clear outward vision for occupants.

How it works on vehicle glass

Solar energy reaches your vehicle through three distinct bands. Automotive solar control film is engineered to address all three, reducing the total energy load entering the cabin.

Ultraviolet (UV)

280–380 nm

Blocked at high levels. Prevents fading of upholstery, dashboard, and trim. Reduces UV exposure for driver and passengers on every journey.

Visible light

380–780 nm

Filtered by the tint level. Reduces glare from sun and oncoming headlights while maintaining clear outward visibility for the driver.

Infrared (IR)

780 nm–2,500 nm

Rejected at high levels. Infrared is the primary cause of heat buildup in the cabin. Blocking it keeps the interior significantly cooler.
